Corporate Wellness is becoming a trend in the business world today, not because it is trend, but because we must also make Health our top most priority. While we are busy in our daily work routine, most of us tend to forget our health. For sure Majority of us are guilty of NEGLIGENCE- whether it is on the food that we eat or on the minimal activities that we take part in. We always have an ALIBI that we are so tired & STRESSED. Keeping all this in mind, the management took the initiative on how uplift health & wellbeing of the employees. The talk was conducted by a professional dietician, Ms. Shambhavi Joshi of International Modern Hospital. The speaker explained the importance of having a well-balanced diet and discussed what food we should eat regularly and food that we should avoid.
They say, small changes can make a powerful difference! In collaboration with International Modern Hospital (IMH), we kick started September with a talk on "Eat heart healthy food" by dietitian, Ms. Shambhavi Joshi. This was followed by measuring of BMI of all staff. We closed the month with an interactive session on "Get to know your heart" with Cardiologist Dr. Mohamed Shehata from International Modern Hospital. At Unigulf our aim is to promote a healthy life style which in turn leads to a healthy heart.
